We are celebrating my son-in-loves birthday tonight. BBQ ribs it must be. Just got a call from my son Sam...He is making the drive down from Denver for his own "slab"!
Here is my SUPER easy bake um all days ribs. They are downright amazing. I bake a few potatoes with all the toppings to go with them....and of course a cabbage salad for me.
Here are my two favorite store bought sauces. I like to add a few ingredients to make them my own...but they are great right out of the bottle.
Sweet Baby Ray's is of the three top-selling barbecue sauces in the country (some sources say itis #1) because it has everything the public loves. It is sweet, smoky, sweet, tangy but not too tangy, spicy but not too spicy, and, did I mention that it was smoky and sweet? It crisps nicely on the grill, but it can blacken easily if you don't watch out. Because it has a lot of liquid smoke flavor it tastes outdoorsy. If you use real wood to flavor your food, you do not need a sauce like this, and in fact, I find it too smoky for smoked meat. But if you do not use wood chips/chunks/pellets when you cook, or if you cook your ribs in the oven, it is perfect.
Famous Dave's BBQ Devil's Spit Sauce...I know I know the title is a bit much but I am telling you it is the best hot hot hot BBQ sauce around. I like to mix it with Sweet Baby Rays and son and son-in-love LOVE it!
